Four soldiers serving with the Yemeni government forces sustained injuries following Houthi militia shelling targeting military positions in Al Dhale Governorate, central Yemen.

Field sources reported that Houthi militias launched mortar attacks on government-controlled sites in the Al Fakher front, north of Al Dhale Governorate, on the previous day. The shelling resulted in four soldiers suffering varying degrees of injuries.

The sources further indicated that the Houthi bombardment struck advanced positions of the government forces, reflecting the ongoing escalation frequently observed on the front lines.

This incident occurs just four days after intense clashes took place in the Al Ghalq front in the Qa'tabah district, north of Al Dhale. During these engagements, government forces successfully repelled Houthi assaults that lasted for several hours and involved various types of weaponry. These events followed similar confrontations in the same front a day prior.

The fronts in Al Dhale Governorate periodically experience intermittent clashes between government forces and Houthi militias. These hostilities are characterized by continued Houthi attempts at escalation, leading to casualties on both sides amidst a tense battlefield situation.
