Security forces in Hadramout's coastal region have successfully raided a drug trafficking den in the Al-Shafa area of Mukalla city, apprehending a suspect and seizing a significant quantity of illicit substances. The operation, conducted by the Anti-Narcotics Administration of Coastal Hadramout, followed meticulous surveillance and intelligence gathering that pinpointed the suspect's location and led to the swift execution of a house raid. During the raid, authorities confiscated over one kilogram of hashish, 40 pills of the prohibited drug Pregabalin, two electronic scales used for weighing and distributing narcotics, and various tools for preparing hashish for sale. A pistol and Kalashnikov ammunition were also found in the suspect's possession. Female officers participated in the operation as part of the security and organizational procedures accompanying the raid and search. The acting director of the Anti-Narcotics Administration, Major Waddah Omar Bazumah, stated that this action is part of the administration's ongoing efforts to pursue and apprehend drug traffickers and curb the spread of this dangerous scourge. |
