Fire Destroys Homes in Al-Mukha, Displacing Two Families with 12 Children

A significant fire has ravaged two residential homes in the village of Hassi Ali, east of the Yakhil area in Al-Mukha district, western Taiz Governorate, resulting in substantial material losses and the displacement of two families who lost all their possessions.

Local sources reported that the blaze erupted in the past few hours, quickly spreading to two adjacent houses belonging to Ahmed Abdo Naji Haidari, who supports a family of eight including seven children, and Abdullah Abdo Naji Haidari, who cares for a family of six including five children.

The flames completely consumed both dwellings, destroying the structures, all furniture, and personal belongings, causing widespread panic among the village residents.

Through intensive efforts, villagers managed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to a third neighboring house, thus averting greater losses in the area.

The affected families have issued urgent appeals for assistance to local authorities and humanitarian organizations, requesting immediate intervention to provide alternative shelter and humanitarian aid after they were left homeless by the fire that destroyed everything they owned.
