Staff members of the Medical Coordination Office for Wounded Joint Forces continued their protests in Aden on Tuesday, gathering outside the Ma'ashiq Palace to demand the disbursement of long-overdue salaries amidst ongoing delays in settling their financial dues.

Protesters stated that their issue remains unresolved despite previous pledges for resolution. They called for immediate intervention from Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and a Lieutenant General, to follow up on the matter with the relevant authorities.

During the demonstration, the protesting employees submitted a formal memorandum via Brigadier General Sharaf Mohammed Al-Subaihi, director of Al-Subaihi's office. The director met with them at the palace gates and assured them that the issue is receiving attention and follow-up, recognizing it as a "legitimate right" of the staff.

According to the protesters, the military official pledged to pursue the case with Major General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, commander of the Saudi Forces in Aden. He indicated that if no progress is made, the matter would be escalated to higher levels within the Joint Forces command in Riyadh.

The employees highlighted the critical role of the Medical Coordination Office in facilitating the treatment of wounded Joint Forces personnel in liberated areas, including arranging care for critical cases both domestically and internationally, particularly during events at Aden International Airport upon the government's arrival.

The protesters had previously held demonstrations outside the Saudi Forces headquarters in Aden last month, reportedly without achieving tangible results. Participants in the latest protest affirmed their intention to continue their demonstrations until all their dues are paid, warning of further escalation if delays persist.
