Yemeni Armed Forces Launch Strategic Offensive on Sanaa Under Operation 'Dawn of Yemen'

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today the commencement of a strategic offensive targeting the capital, Sanaa, coinciding with the launch of Operation 'Dawn of Yemen.' This significant military development occurs amidst a widespread escalation across multiple fronts against the Houthi militia.

The announcement was made concurrently with confirmation from the coalition of its participation with 100 fighter jets in Operation 'Dawn of Yemen.' The coalition reported the destruction of 324 high-value targets since the operation began, affirming continuous round-the-clock air support for the Yemeni Armed Forces and the provision of air cover for the Bab el-Mandeb strait.

On domestic fronts, the armed forces initiated a broad assault on Houthi militia positions in the Haradh district of Hajjah Governorate. This offensive aligns with rapid military movements observed in several fronts within Taiz Governorate.

Military sources reported that forces achieved battlefield advances in the Jabal Habashi front, west of Taiz. Intense fighting resulted in the destruction and burning of Houthi militia vehicles, with several fighters reportedly captured.

Operation 'Dawn of Yemen' aims, as declared, to restore state institutions, liberate the capital, Sanaa, and end the Houthi militia's coup. Military operations are continuing across several axes as part of a comprehensive escalation designed to regain control over territories held by the militia.
