Yemeni Forces Launch Widespread Offensive Across Multiple Fronts

Yemeni government forces have initiated a significant military escalation across several fronts, launching coordinated offensive operations in the Al Jawf and Al Bayda governorates, alongside troop movements in Haradh, Hajjah, and intensified clashes in Taiz, Dhale, and Hodeidah. This widespread military activity signals a broadening of operations against Houthi militia forces.

Colonel Majid Al-Nuzayli, spokesperson for the government forces, announced significant territorial gains in Al Jawf and Al Bayda, noting collapses within Houthi ranks. He stated that the offensive operations have resulted in the liberation of new positions and inflicted substantial human and material losses on the militia, emphasizing that operations will continue at a high tempo with support from various military formations.

In Al Jawf, government forces seized control of the strategic Al-Labnat camp and its surrounding areas following a swift morning offensive. A field source reported that units from the First and Third Brigades of the Emergency Forces, with participation from the Sixth Military Region forces, executed a rapid operation culminating in the capture of the camp, a key military site in the governorate. Control of Al-Labnat camp provides government forces with a crucial battlefield advantage, overlooking routes connecting Al Jawf to Sana'a and Sa'dah, and opens avenues for advances towards Al Hazm, the provincial capital, and other eastern sectors. Sources indicate the camp was utilized by the Houthi militia for storing weapons and ammunition, training fighters, and as a launch point for operations in Al Jawf and Marib.

In Al Bayda, government forces launched a broad ground operation concurrently with a series of airstrikes targeting Houthi positions and gatherings. Field sources reported that warplanes conducted 13 raids on militia positions, vehicles, and concentrations, in addition to dozens of drone strikes. One operation resulted in the destruction of a Houthi operations room and command and control center in the Murais front of Dhale governorate.

In Dhale, warplanes carried out three airstrikes targeting Houthi positions on Jabal Nassah, overlooking the Murais district in the northern part of the governorate. According to sources, these strikes destroyed Houthi military storage facilities and barracks. The strikes followed indiscriminate Houthi shelling of residential areas in the village of Al-Adama in Murais, causing damage to civilian property.

In Taiz governorate, the military media of the National Resistance reported that armed forces destroyed three successive Houthi formations in the Al Burh axis in the western part of the governorate. This is occurring amidst ongoing strikes targeting Houthi movements and gatherings in the axis, reflecting a military escalation in the western Taiz fronts. In Hajjah governorate, government forces advanced towards the city of Haradh, where fierce clashes with Houthi militia erupted in several locations within the city, with forces progressing towards Houthi positions, according to field sources. This operation coincides with the ongoing military actions in Al Jawf and Al Bayda, demonstrating multiple points of military pressure on the militia.

Meanwhile, confrontations continue in the western coastal fronts of Hodeidah governorate for the sixth consecutive day, with sources reporting simultaneous military operations aimed at recapturing strategic positions across multiple axes. This escalation occurs as government forces reaffirm their commitment to continuing operations to liberate areas under Houthi control, with further military movements anticipated in other fronts in the coming hours.
