National Resistance Launches Counter-Offensive on West Coast Fronts

The National Resistance forces, supported by units of the Giants Brigades, launched a counter-offensive against Houthi militia positions on Saturday in the Saghm and southern Al-Jarrahi sectors of Yemen's West Coast front in Hodeidah Governorate.

Military media reported that units from the Second Division of the National Resistance engaged in battles in the Al-Muharraq mountains in the Saghm sector. The operation resulted in losses for the Houthi militia and the capture of weapons, including a Grad rocket launcher.

In southern Al-Jarrahi, the same source indicated that intense fighting continued, with reports of human and material losses sustained by the Houthi militia, though specific figures were not provided. A reconnaissance drone belonging to the National Resistance reportedly targeted Houthi reinforcements in southern Al-Jarrahi, coordinating with ground operations and hitting its targets accurately.

These developments occur amidst ongoing clashes in other West Coast fronts, including Al-Kadha and Al-Buraah, which have entered their fourth consecutive day. Military reports suggest significant casualties among the Houthi militia.
