Three members of the Houthi militia, including a prominent mobilization supervisor, were killed in inter-factional clashes in Dhamar governorate following disputes over funds collected from residents.

Local sources reported that the Houthi mobilization supervisor for the Mefaa' Ans district, identified as "Abu Mutahhar Al-Du'air," sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred after a heated argument erupted between Al-Du'air and other Houthi elements aboard a military vehicle. The dispute reportedly stemmed from disagreements concerning funds and levies collected from the populace under the pretext of celebrating the Prophet's birthday.

Sources further clarified that one of the assailants, belonging to the Al-Qadi family, directly fired at Al-Du'air, inflicting severe injuries. Al-Du'air was subsequently transferred to intensive care, where he remained for approximately ten days before succumbing to his injuries.

The ensuing exchange of gunfire also resulted in the deaths of two individuals from the Al-Qadi family, bringing the total casualties from the confrontation to three.

Internal conflicts within the Houthi militia leadership and ranks have been escalating, largely attributed to disagreements over financial matters and the imposition of levies on citizens. Mutual accusations of embezzlement of these collected revenues are reportedly rampant.
