The Forum of Displaced Employees in Yemen's temporary capital, Aden, and liberated areas has called for participation in two separate demonstrations scheduled for Sunday, March 8th, demanding the disbursement of delayed salaries and resolution of their employment status.

According to a statement obtained by Khabar Agency, the first protest is slated for 11:00 AM in front of the Ministry of Finance and Civil Service building in Al-Ardh Square, Khormaksar district. The second demonstration is scheduled for 9:00 PM in front of the Al-Maasheeq Palace gate in Crater, Sirah district.

The statement emphasized that displaced employees are confronting severe living conditions resulting from the suspension of salaries and delays in government redress. The forum explicitly demanded the payment of all outstanding dues, the approval of a 30% increase to mitigate the rising cost of living, the disbursement of annual allowances, implementation of job grade adjustments, and their absorption into state institutions.

Furthermore, lawyer and legal advisor Yassin Mahyoub Al-Humaieri urged the Presidential Leadership Council and the Prime Minister to intervene urgently to provide justice for the displaced employees and release their salaries, which have reportedly been halted since 2025. Al-Humaieri characterized their exclusion from allowances and increases as unconstitutional discrimination, calling for the retroactive payment of entitlements and the formation of a governmental committee to address the persistent issues.
