Soldier Killed Repelling Houthi Infiltration Attempt in Yemen's Lahij Front

A soldier was killed on Friday evening during intense confrontations in the Al-Had fronts of Yafa'a, located in the northeastern part of the Lahij Governorate, following a failed infiltration attempt by Houthi militia groups.

Field sources confirmed that fierce clashes erupted between the militia elements and the government forces stationed at the Al-Had front. The government forces successfully thwarted the Houthi infiltration attempt, which was aimed at breaching the primary defense line.

The clashes resulted in the martyrdom of the young soldier, Awad Ghaleb Al-Mawla'i, who died while fulfilling his national duty in confronting the attacking militia elements.

The Houthi militia has escalated its hostile operations over recent weeks, making desperate attempts to achieve any battlefield breakthrough to boost the morale of its fighters amid its continued violation of the undeclared truce and rejection of all peace initiatives.
