Houthi Missile Strike Kills and Injures Civilians in Taiz Market

A Houthi ballistic missile attack on the Al-Hazara market in Al-Wazi'iyah district, west of Taiz Governorate, has resulted in civilian casualties and widespread destruction. Local sources report that the terrorist militia targeted the popular market on Friday, causing fatalities and injuries among civilians and significant damage to the market and private property.

According to the sources, the militia launched the missile from one of its positions in Jabal Rasen, located in Al-Shamaytitin district in the southwestern rural area of Taiz Governorate.

The attack instilled widespread panic among residents, particularly as the market is a civilian area frequented daily by shoppers and vendors.

This incident adds to a pattern of Houthi violations in Taiz, with previous reports detailing numerous civilian casualties and ongoing blockades affecting the region.
