Yemen Army Clears Liberated Areas in Al Jawf, Advances East of Al Hazm

Yemeni government forces are continuing offensive operations against Houthi militias in the eastern sector of Al Jawf Governorate, supported by airstrikes and drone attacks. The operation, which commenced on Tuesday, aims to consolidate control over recently liberated territories.

Military sources confirmed that troops are actively engaged in clearing operations within the liberated sites. This includes the crucial task of demining and disarming explosive devices and obstacles deliberately placed by the militias. Simultaneously, government forces are confronting fortified positions and trenches, while pressing forward with their advance toward the strategically important Dahiydhah mountains, located east of Al Hazm.

During the recent engagements, government troops successfully recaptured weapons and ammunition from the Houthi ranks. The clashes also resulted in significant casualties among the militia forces, according to official reports.

Airstrikes conducted by fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles have targeted Houthi fortifications, troop concentrations, and ammunition depots. These coordinated aerial attacks have inflicted substantial losses on the militia, including the destruction of enemy military vehicles.

In related developments, government forces engaged in intense fighting with the Houthi terrorist group along the front lines south of Al Hazm. These confrontations led to considerable Houthi losses in personnel and resulted in the damage or destruction of several combat vehicles.
