Joint military units successfully thwarted an attempted infiltration and attack by Houthi militants on positions in the Haifan front, Taiz Governorate, early Monday, November 2, 2026. Field sources reported that the joint units, comprising elements from the Fourth Hazm Brigade and the First National Resistance Commando Brigade, engaged and repelled the assault targeting the Al-Mamshash and Al-Sila positions. The attacking Houthi forces were compelled to retreat, sustaining significant casualties. The sources indicated that the militia withdrew after the failure of their offensive and infiltration attempt, which resulted in no territorial gains. |
