Houthi Leaders, Iranian Expert Arrive at Military Hospital Amid Strict Secrecy

Several Houthi field commanders and an Iranian military expert have been admitted to the military hospital in Sanaa under heavy security and a strict information blackout, according to medical sources.

The sources told Akhbar Agency that the arrivals were from the western coast fronts. The Houthi militia has imposed a tight security cordon around the hospital, restricting access and allowing only a select few senior leaders to enter individually under stringent surveillance.

The individuals transferred to the hospital reportedly came from the western coast fronts, which have recently seen a significant military escalation. The clashes involve the Joint Forces, Southern Giants Brigades, and the Shield of the Nation forces against Houthi militants, allegedly supported by experts from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps.

This development coincides with increasing reports of high casualties among Houthi fighters being transported from the western coast to medical facilities in Sanaa, Ibb, and Hodeidah. Previous media reports indicated the arrival of dozens of dead and wounded Houthi fighters, including field commanders, at hospitals in Sanaa and Hodeidah following intense battles in the Taiz and Hodeidah fronts.

Further reports suggested that Kuwait Hospital in Sanaa received 19 bodies, while other sources indicated that approximately 170 Houthi dead and wounded were transferred to the capital's hospitals between September 5th and 6th, arriving from the Al-Barih, Mokha, Al-Jarrahi, and Hays fronts. Recent field reports highlight a notable surge in fighting along the western coast, with hundreds of Houthi casualties recorded in recent engagements, and reports confirming that battles have extended to various areas in Taiz and Hodeidah.

In Sanaa, media sources reported on Tuesday that Kuwait Hospital is facing immense pressure due to the increasing number of incoming bodies. Additional refrigerated containers have been placed around the hospital to accommodate the rising influx, signaling the strain on medical facilities managing the flow of combat casualties. Local sources have stated that hospitals in Sanaa, Ibb, and Hodeidah are dedicating a substantial portion of their capacity to receive Houthi dead and wounded from the front lines. The militia is reportedly imposing restrictions on the dissemination of information regarding its human losses, particularly concerning the identities of leaders, officers, and foreign experts.
