Travel Advisory Issued for Jubah-Marib Road Amidst Armed Clashes

The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport has issued a warning to travelers and passenger transport companies, advising against the use of the Jubah-Marib road due to ongoing armed confrontations between government forces and Houthi militias in the area.

In a statement released this evening, the authority urged travelers and transport companies to avoid the affected route and instead utilize the alternative path via Damt - Al Dhale'e - Aden, to ensure their safety and mitigate risks associated with the persistent clashes.

The directive aims to safeguard passenger and cargo movement and prevent vehicles and individuals from encountering dangers arising from the ongoing engagements. It also seeks to maintain the smooth flow of transportation services.

The authority affirmed its readiness to coordinate with relevant authorities to facilitate the movement of vehicles, passengers, and goods through designated routes and entry points in the liberated governorates. It also called upon citizens and vehicle operators to adhere to the directives of security and military agencies and to strictly follow the safe routes and paths identified by the competent bodies.
