Unknown assailants set fire to a lawyer's vehicle in the Dhī as-Sufāl district of Ibb governorate, central Yemen, amidst widespread security chaos in the province controlled by the Houthi militia. Local sources reported that unidentified individuals set fire to the vehicle of lawyer Khalid Qa'id 'Abbad the night before last. The car was parked next to his home in the village of Al-Mashnān, within the Ḥabīr sub-district of Dhī as-Sufāl. While the identities and motives of the perpetrators remain unknown, residents of the area have urged the relevant authorities within the Houthi militia administration to investigate the incident, apprehend the culprits, and hold them accountable.
