However, these campaigns across several districts did not yield the desired results, encountering widespread reluctance to respond to recruitment calls. In Amran governorate, credible sources confirmed similar unsuccessful attempts to attract new combatants, indicating that the militia is experiencing a shortage of fighters on several of its fronts. According to these sources, public and tribal rejection of sending tribesmen into combat has hindered the Houthi efforts. This resistance is fueled by growing discontent with the ongoing conflict and its repercussions on Yemeni society. The sources further indicated that many tribal members now perceive these battles as conflicts that do not serve their interests or the interests of Yemen.
