Houthi militias have escalated military actions by targeting several camps and units of the armed forces, including those belonging to emergency forces. The attacks resulted in casualties and partial damage, which have since been addressed. This offensive follows a series of security and military achievements by the armed forces, directed by the Minister of Defense. These operations aimed to secure regions, protect international routes, pursue banditry and smuggling gangs, and apprehend wanted individuals involved in violent crimes, assassinations, and organized offenses. The First Emergency Division, forces from the First Military Region, and the Shield of the Homeland forces participated in these missions, alongside other units of the armed forces and security agencies. These efforts were part of a joint endeavor to enhance security and stability, ensure the safety of travelers, and pursue criminal cells and lawless elements. The leadership of the First Emergency Division affirmed that these attacks will not deter the armed forces from continuing their national duties. They pledged to persist with security and military operations to pursue all those who threaten citizens' security and the country's stability. The leadership emphasized that these aggressions will only strengthen the forces' resolve to perform their missions in confronting the militia, protecting the nation, restoring the state, and establishing security and the rule of law. |
