Houthi militiamen have abducted a civilian in Ibb Governorate, central Yemen, amidst daily violations reported across the governorate's districts. Local sources stated that the Houthi militia kidnapped a bus driver after the phrase "Sheikh bin Fadgham" was written on the rear window of the bus he operates to support his family. The sources clarified that the Houthi militia alleged the driver used offensive writings and phrases on the back of his vehicle. It was noted that the Houthi militia forced the driver to confess during initial interrogation to committing this act and subsequently broke the rear window of the bus. Sources indicated that the Houthi militia is still conducting investigations with the driver and has threatened punitive measures against him. It is worth noting that Al Jawf Governorate has been experiencing a widespread tribal conflict for over two weeks, under the banner of "Matareh Al Karama." This conflict was called for by Sheikh Hamad bin Fadgham Al Hazmi, following his abduction, humiliation, and torture in Houthi militia prisons, in connection with his support for the "Mira Saddam Hussein" cause. |
