Tribes in the Al-Wazi'iyah district of Taiz Governorate handed over the wanted security individual, Ahmed Salem Haidar Al-Masholi, on Saturday, demonstrating significant community cooperation with efforts to establish security and stability.

A senior security source in the West Coast confirmed that the security campaign, led by Fahman Al-Ghabs, commander of the First Commando Brigade, received the wanted individual and transferred him to the Fourth Military Region command.

The handover occurred as the security campaign was preparing to resume its field operations to apprehend Al-Masholi, who is listed on the Ministry of Interior's wanted list. The Al-Mashawlah tribe initiated the surrender in response to security appeals and a commitment to enhancing public tranquility and resolving the tension caused by the fugitive's gang in recent times.

A responsible official in the West Coast security sector commended the responsible stance taken by the Al-Mashawlah tribe, also appreciating the cooperation and support of the sons and tribes of Al-Wazi'iyah towards the security services since the commencement of operations to pursue individuals outside the law.

The source detailed that the wanted individual, Ahmed Haidar Al-Masholi, is implicated in several criminal offenses, including murder, ambush, brigandage, and assaults on security personnel and civilians, in addition to intercepting humanitarian organization convoys and looting their property.
