A young Yemeni chef working in Cairo has been found drowned in the Nile River, six days after disappearing under mysterious circumstances.

Sources close to the deceased, identified as Ammar Ahmed Salem Al-Wassabi from the Wassab district, reported that Al-Wassabi had informed colleagues and management of his workplace about severe family disputes with his Egyptian wife and her relatives prior to his sudden disappearance.

The family disputes preceded his abrupt absence from work and the eventual discovery of his body.

In response to this tragic incident, Yemeni expatriates from the "Wassab Al-Ali and Wassab Al-Safel" districts in Egypt have issued an urgent appeal to the Yemeni Embassy in Cairo, community leadership, activists, and social figures. They are calling for swift action and coordination with Egyptian security authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

The Yemeni community has also urged the embassy to appoint a lawyer and legal advisor to monitor the official investigation, ascertain the cause of the incident, ensure justice is served, and determine if there is any suspicion of foul play related to the drowning.
