A woman and her two young children were killed, and two other family members were injured in an explosion caused by explosive devices left behind by Houthi militias in the Al-Mahabishah district of Hajjah province.

Local sources reported that the incident occurred at approximately 10:00 AM on Friday in the Al-Ja'adana area, specifically near the Higher Complex. The explosion resulted from two improvised explosive devices that had been brought to the site by a relative of the family, identified as an uncle who is a Houthi fighter. He reportedly buried the devices near the home's water tank without disarming them.

The deceased have been identified as seven-year-old Jibril Ali Murassa' Haidan, his four-year-old brother Jaber, and their mother. Two other children, a boy and a girl, were transported to the hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained from the shrapnel.

This tragic event underscores the lethal dangers associated with transporting explosives and improvised devices into villages and populated areas, turning civilian homes into scenes of horrific human tragedies.
