The Public Electricity Corporation in Al-Mahra Governorate announced on Tuesday a complete power outage scheduled for the upcoming hour across the city of Al-Ghaydah and its surrounding areas, citing the depletion of diesel fuel reserves essential for operating generation stations.

The corporation confirmed that the outage is directly attributable to delays in the arrival of scheduled fuel shipments designated for the power plants. This logistical shortfall has necessitated the immediate cessation of electricity generation.

Authorities have assured the public that diesel transport tankers are currently en route to the governorate and are anticipated to arrive within the next few hours. Upon arrival, technical teams will immediately commence refueling operations to restart the generation stations and restore power according to the established schedule.
