The Iranian President and the Chief Justice of the Judiciary, alongside a member of the Guardian Council, have been tasked with managing the nation's transitional period following recent developments.

This directive comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows reports concerning the status of key leadership figures. Iranian state television previously confirmed the death of Qasem Soleimani, an event analysts suggest underscores a strategic "eradication" policy extending beyond decapitating specific organizational leaders.

The passing of Soleimani is reportedly prompting renewed calls for the complete dismantling of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) structure. Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced Soleimani's death and vowed to continue military operations, a statement subsequently formalized by Washington.

In parallel international reactions, the French representative to the United Nations Security Council issued a firm demand, insisting that Iran must immediately cease all hostile activities.
