Joint Forces Recapture Strategic Site in Al-Mudaryabah Amid Airstrikes in Lahj, Taiz

Joint forces have successfully recaptured a strategic military site in the Al-Mudaryabah front in Lahj Governorate following decisive clashes with Houthi militias. This advance coincided with intense airstrikes targeting Houthi military positions and reinforcements across the fronts of Lahj and southern and western Taiz.

Field sources confirmed that the Joint Forces have established full control over "Jabal Al-Ahnib Al-Abyad" in the Al-Mudaryabah district after fierce battles. During these confrontations, Houthi elements were forced to retreat and flee, having sustained significant human and material losses, with several of their military vehicles destroyed.

The sources indicated that the engagements resulted in the capture of a Houthi sniper along with his 50mm caliber weapon. Additionally, several militia members were neutralized through concentrated strikes by the Joint Forces' sniper units.

Concurrently, warplanes and drones conducted successive raids targeting Houthi gatherings and positions east of Al-Mudaryabah district and Ras Al-Ara. These strikes included four hits on the "Al-Fasom" area and the "Jabal Al-Abdar" bases, leading to the destruction of military vehicles and equipment.

In a related development, fighter jets renewed their bombardment this afternoon on Houthi reinforcements in the Al-Hajriyah and Al-Muqatarah frontlines. The strikes targeted militia movements in Al-Khabil Al-Yamani, Alqamah, and the vicinity of Jabal Mibdar, with continuous aerial surveillance monitoring any Houthi military activity.

The command of the Fourth Military Region confirmed the direct targeting of a Houthi military vehicle in the Al-Mudaryabah - Bab Al-Mandab front. They emphasized the continuation of field and air operations to thwart the militia's threatening movements and secure the contact lines of the southwestern axis.
