Yemeni Forces Conduct 1,392 Operations, Neutralize 620 Houthi Militants

Yemeni government forces announced on Friday the execution of 1,392 operations in the past 24 hours as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" campaign, resulting in the neutralization of approximately 620 Houthi militants, including field commanders. The operations also led to the destruction or damage of around 190 military vehicles, armored personnel carriers, transport vehicles, and heavy and medium weaponry.

The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces stated in a release on his official account that the operations were conducted concurrently with ground raids, land assaults, and concentrated aerial and artillery strikes along the front lines. These actions targeted Houthi gatherings, reinforcements, command positions, weapon sites, fortifications, trenches, and military vehicles.

The statement elaborated that, according to initial field assessments, the operations resulted in the dismantling of Houthi formations, disruption of their field command, and the obstruction of their supply lines and maneuverability between axes.

In Taiz province, the spokesperson reported that army units carried out raids and counter-attacks on Houthi positions in the Al-Aqroosh front, achieving territorial gains. They also thwarted Houthi attempts to regroup or regain lost positions. He added that operations continued on other fronts, targeting Houthi movements, reserves, and firing points, resulting in successive losses for the militia.

The government forces affirmed that the Houthi militia's continued deployment of personnel and reinforcements will not alter the course of the conflict. They stressed their commitment to continuing military operations while adhering to the principles of international humanitarian law and taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
