Senior Prosecutor Assassinated in Seiyun; Suspect Apprehended

Mubarak bin Nasser bin Sameid', a member of the Seiyun Appellate Prosecution, was assassinated by unidentified gunmen on Monday evening in the city of Seiyun, Hadramaut Governorate. Security forces apprehended the perpetrator within hours of the crime.

Local sources reported that one of the assailants opened fire on Prosecutor bin Sameid' while he was in his vehicle in Seiyun, resulting in his death. The perpetrators then fled the scene.
