Houthi militiamen fatally shot a civilian inside his home in southern Taiz province after he refused to allow them to convert his residence into a sniper position. Local sources reported that the armed individuals stormed the house of Hamoud Abdullah Saif Al-Rajhi in the Al-Jabal area of Same' district. The incident occurred following a confrontation after Al-Rajhi refused to permit the militia's use of his home for military purposes. The gunmen then opened fire on him at close range, resulting in his death at the scene. This event is part of ongoing violations by the Houthi militia against civilians in Taiz province. These violations include the utilization of positions within residential areas for sniper attacks and the transformation of citizens' homes and properties into military sites, thereby endangering residents' lives. Taiz province continues to record violations against civilians in areas situated along the front lines. This situation persists due to the Houthi militia's continued use of residential areas and civilian homes for military objectives across various fronts in the province. |
