Washington and Tehran have electronically signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at concluding hostilities, according to U.S. officials cited by Axios. The agreement reportedly entered into force on Thursday.

Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that the text of the memorandum of understanding was officially signed by the presidents of the United States and Iran.

This development comes amidst reports of escalating popular anger in Ibb against Houthi sectarian insults targeting Islamic symbols, and concerns within Yemen's legitimate government regarding the repercussions of the U.S.-Iran agreement.

Further context suggests internal warnings in Tehran reveal the depth of the crisis following the agreement with Washington. Separately, clashes in Radaa, Al Bayda, resulted in injuries during confrontations between citizens and a Houthi campaign.

In other news from Yemen, traffic accidents in liberated areas during the first half of June resulted in 28 fatalities and 210 injuries.
