A citizen set himself on fire after performing the Maghrib prayer in a mosque in Marib Governorate. Local sources reported that the competent security authorities have initiated an investigation into the tragic incident that occurred at the Al-Baqma Mosque, following an individual's act of self-immolation after prayers. It was revealed that the man poured a highly flammable petroleum substance on his body within the mosque's premises, which led to him catching fire. Despite strenuous efforts by worshippers to extinguish the flames using available means, the intensity of the fire prevented his rescue. |
