Houthi militias have compelled hundreds of families to undertake forced displacement from their villages in the Inbian area of Al-Masrakh district in Taiz Governorate, southwestern Yemen, amid intensifying shelling and abuses that have driven civilians to seek safety.

Local accounts from residents indicate that the suffering of the inhabitants commenced with the Houthi militia's initial incursion into the Inbian villages. Residents endured harsh conditions, including forced eviction, killings, and violations, compelling families to abandon their homes under bombardment and fear.

The accounts further detail that the residents of Inbian, within Al-Masrakh district, were forced to evacuate their villages. Hundreds of civilians reportedly arrived in the Mashra'a and Hadnan area barefoot, carrying their children, having fled in haste without the opportunity to gather essential supplies.

The Inbian area is situated between the districts of Al-Masrakh and Mashra'a and Hadnan. This wave of displacement from the region, according to residents' testimonies, underscores the severe humanitarian crisis faced by civilians due to escalating confrontations and abuses in rural Taiz.
