The Saudi-led coalition supporting the legitimate government in Yemen announced early Tuesday the destruction of a ballistic missile launch platform in the capital, Sanaa, and a cache of approximately 20 ballistic missiles within a mountainous site in Saada province. These strikes represent the latest actions targeting the missile capabilities of the Houthi terrorist militia.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the operation targeted the platform in Sanaa, while the missile storage site was destroyed within a mountainous location in Saada, the militia's stronghold in northern Yemen.

The agency released a video recording depicting the moment the site was targeted and the subsequent explosions following the destruction of the cache.

These strikes follow hours after the coalition's spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Malki, announced that naval forces had conducted a military operation in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, targeting Houthi militia military positions. Al-Malki stated that the operation resulted in the destruction of weapons depots and warehouses for explosive-laden boats and naval mines, thwarting a plan for imminent attacks against waterways in the southern Red Sea.

He added that the naval operation is part of the coalition's efforts to protect maritime navigation security in the Bab el-Mandeb strait, a key maritime route in the region. These strikes coincide with a broad military escalation in Yemen, as the Yemeni government announced on Sunday the commencement of a military operation to reclaim areas under Houthi militia control, while airstrikes have intensified in Sanaa, Saada, and other areas.
